Joll Road Urban Development
Since 2017 Development Nous has been involved in the Planning, Civil Engineering, and Surveying for the multi-staged commercial development on Joll Road, Havelock North. The multi-level mixed-use complex contains retail space, offices and restaurants with a network of planted laneways and courtyards.
The first application for the site was for landuse consent for two new commercial buildings and car park, being the first stage of a 3 staged commercial development spread over 8 existing residential titles on Joll Road and Campbell Street in Havelock North. Resource consent was granted in June 2018 and Stage 1 buildings and car park works were completed and tenanted in June 2020.
The resource consent application for Stage two of the development included the proposal for a standalone mixed-use building with a cohesive visual connection with the completed stage 1 building. Stage 2 construction commenced in 2022 and finished in 2023.
Stage 3 is yet to commence.
